tomos 70cc 44mm cylinder for the A55 tomos engines found on the late and current model tomos mopeds!

if your case doesnt already have m6 / m7 studs, you will need to get these tomos studs here!! the stud holes on this case will not fit m7 size studs, and these special ones thread in m7 and taper down to m6

fits perfectly and works with your existing carburetor, intake, and exhaust, as long as you upjet your carburetor. Be sure to use the 6413 6mm dellorto main jets if you are using the original PHVA carb.

comes with cylinder, head, piston, cast iron ring, chromed ring, wrist pin, clips, and gaskets.

this head uses a regular short thread bhs spark plug.

I tossed this kit on my 2005 a55 arrow, fun times! It being my first build I kept it pretty standard, 19mm PHBG and BiTurbo/technobullet really opens it up. Drop yer rear sprocket to 22t and ur 45mph zoomin' if'n ya don't get too scurred, thomas is a shakey son of a gun. Lovin' it. Add an unlimited rev or wicked curve to the mix and a lil timing and yer loving life. 10/10 would blow up again.

3 of 5 Meh (maybe) August 13, 2023

Head was weird out of the box, casting texture in combustion chamber and weird sharp angles, so I polished it up a bit. Otherwise just matched transfers and polished the exhaust port a bit. Geared 27/24 on a streetmate with a 3" knobby, phva 17.5, 18mm intake and estoril sidebleed. Honestly, my ported stock cylinder was faster. I gained low and mid range and have better hill climbing, but I had to swap rear sprocket from 26 to 24 to gain my top speed of 44-45 back and it's much weaker on top.

Update: still 3 stars because that head is weird but I found a massive oil leak at the case gasket and suspect an airleak, will update review again upon rebuild.

This kit installed perfectly in 2011 Streetmate with stock exhaust, intake and carb.  22 tooth sprocket added next. Moded muffler for fun but was not enough. MLM sidebleed added and bam, now stock carb is limiting the good times(speed 44gps). 18mm  Mikuni kit is on the way...
