3 of 5 Very Stiff & Took Months to Break in April 15, 2023

The forks finally broke in. After six months or so. I'm not sure why; maybe it was the installer's fault.

When the forks were first installed, they looked great but, then, they performed as if I had installed a rigid front end. If you install them, take time to make sure that you get some compression out of them, by holding the front brake, and pushing down on the handlebars. These forks aren't meant to be rigid, they are sprung.

They performed better than the original worn out, soft forks, cornering and stability was improved a lot. But they were rigid and stiff to the point which the ride was dangerous over bumps at speed.

In any case, they broke in now. I now have about 3/4" of travel in the front end. Yay. The ride is a bit better, and taking bumps is much easier. The forks are still pretty stiff, but at this rate, by next year, I might have them totally broken in. I honestly might not have bought them if I had known in advance that they'd take this long to break in.
