here's what ya get in this PARTYYY!:
 
 
complete cdi for vespa points cases and of course kinetic cdi cases!! yes, these coils fit straight onto vespa points cases on ciao, bravo, grande, etc.

comes with all ya see here...flywheel, light coil, ignition coil, high tension coil, ngk plug boot and cdi box!

this will NOT work on vespa CDI cases, polini CDI cases, malossi CDI cases or any other weird CDI cases.. only kinetic CDI cases (the only kind they made) and all vespa points cases as commonly found on pretty much all US ciao, grande, & bravo!

you will need to find a new place to mount the HT coil but that's super easy.

grab the regulator of your choice, if you don't like decisions just get the trail tech one.

These fit on vespa points cases fairly well. There are two minor issues.

1. it is sometimes necessary to slightly file down the coils to get a perfecto clearance between the coils and flywheel...easy.

2. the woodruff key is not in the correct place for vespa points cranks so you will have to time this with a timing light and skip the woodruff key on the crank. well worth it considering you get the magical power of elettronico.

I tried using this without a woodruff key and it slips every time I shut off the engine.

Using the woodruff key and kinetic box, it works. Its ok.

Using a parmakit box and NO woodruff key and it ripps. but it slips and then you have to drop the motor and re time it.

Kinda like putting a cdi on a french bike but you gotta get your light and find out where it fires first. Also kinda like hooking up an HPI with no line on the wheel. You gotta find the line. It's like riding a bike once you got it, you got it.

dang what a cool upgrade for vespa's! make sure you toss that old woodruff key and time this puppy, use your master skills to make your timing marks, tighten it down and after that it's pure fun!
