Slapped this bad boy on my za50 first gear clutch. I opted for the method of punching out and then reusing the stock links.
As far as performance, these remind me of blue springs on an e50 or maybe the eso ones. Better than stock, not thing crazy. Should be reliable!

Yupppp. Works great in a za50 first gear. Allows you to actually get some clutch slip off the line. I'm not sure the exact rpm / mph it engages but it's pretty mild. I wouldn't bother with blue springs in first gear. Those seem like they're too weak / wouldn't really get any additional slip over stock.
If you're confused on how to put these on a za50 clutch, I did a write up on MA. Look it up. Brief overview: cut off the stock chain links and drill em out for 415 master links. Springs aren't too bad to put on. Easy peasy!
Haven't ran em in second gear yet but ima try it soon. Will update my review when I do.
Have fun and be safe.

glue the tips together, have a buddy or a vice to put these on and then get to ripping. for stock or kitted bikes that can't afford the jammer clutch put these bad boys on for shifting into 2nd around 20mph and getting more power to pull up them mountains. be prepaired to have line your clutch pads after about 500 miles though

Yellow Tomos Spring

Ordered the yellow spring to delay shifting into 2nd gear, when spring arrived, realized that the loops at the ends for connecting it together were open too wide, decided to use pliers to close them a little, the loop completely snapped... made another loop & when attempting to close it a bit, snapped again... Ordered another yellow spring this time didn't mess around trying to close those loops, the way the end loops are as is, they're barely holding on to each other, hopefully they won't come apart, been riding for 1 day so far, with stock gearing tomos now shifts about 5 miles later then it was with stock spring.
