tomos front sprocket for re-gearing your moped to your needs.

expect to have to cut your chain if you are making large jumps in gears

okay boys and girls... here are some sizes for the larger sprockets in case you have any clearance issues!

28 sprocket - 120mm OD
29 sprocket - 125mm OD
30 sprocket - 127mm OD
31 sprocket - 132mm OD

the 31T tomos sprocket will require some case grinding to fit and will only fit if you are using HPI ignitions or have this style of ignition as the flywheel hits the sprocket on other ignitions. other oem tomos ignitions may be ok, but probably not.

we normally carry 22T, 24T, 26T, 27T, 28T, 29T, 30T and 31T.

26T is tomos OEM # 209078

Arrow uses tomos front sprockets as rear sprockets. Stock is 26T part #209078

if they don't show up in the drop down menu, that means we are out of stock for a week or so.

So I put a 30 on my A3 with a ZA CDI and it rubs a little on the flywheel. Super cool sparks and 55mph with a 22 rear. I'm now ordering a 31 and a 20, because I am running a mini rotor and have ALL the room. Wish me luck. Go A3 go. And ya, screw a dremel for this, angle grinder all day.

5 of 5 Worthwhile upgrade April 15, 2016

After a kit and various other upgrades, I decided to try out a bigger front sprocket.
Went from a 25t to a 28t.
Feels GREAT! I hit 52 mph on GPS winding out tucked but into a strong wind.
Took a good amount of grinding on the case and side cover, but it was worth it. I couldn't imagine going much bigger, though.
This was on my kickstart A35, fwiw.
Bought me at least a few mph.

5 of 5 A 'little bit' of case grinding they said... May 27, 2014

You'll read around on forums that anything over a 27T gear needs a 'little bit' of grinding.  I ordered the 30T knowing there was work ahead of me but holy hell!!!  I tossed my dremel aside after about 15 seconds and grabbed a 6" angle grinder.  I had to remove a LOT of material and the flywheel is now exposed to the chain and any debris it drags in, so I'm gonna have to stay on clean roads and the hell away from mud from now on!  I had to grind the foot peg mount for clearance too.  All in all it's definitely shortened the life of the bike but I'm hitting 65km/hr now just with an air filter and biturbo exhaust.  ZOOM!
