So why would you want not one but two strait 90° bends in your intake. The only reason to get this is if you just have to have the carb tite to the frame. Other than that get a mlm or Weakends intake.

Great on Targa LX (A35)

I have a '96 Targa lx (A35) with the 70cc airsal kit and a biturbo.
I wanted a bigger carb and intake but I didn't want it to be loud, which happens when you have the intake shooting to the side and use a high flow filter so I figured out how to use this intake with a 21mm rubber mounting and screws-on-the right (BD) PHBG carb, but any size BD carb should work, I think.
I had to cut half and inch off the carb and this intake, but I was able to use the stock airbox (modified) and keep the moped really quiet and still very fast!
Check it out. I hope this helps:

Generally 90 degree bends are frowned upon in terms of smooth flow, but I used this intake so I could get the carb tucked up next to the frame and not interfere with the pedals. I probably shaved about 1/4" off the end so that the mixture and idle adjustment are easily accessible from the other side of the frame

Put this on my 94 tomos sprint A35. First if you use the 90deg bend on the end of the intake the carb will hit the frame. Second who ever welded it didnt finish welding it so I had a bad intake leak and couldnt get it to run right.
