Weighs as much as a Shinko 714 16 x 2.25! A 11mm long tack protrudes 1mm when inserted into the tire. The Shinko had 1.5mm sticking out. A Hutchinson Spherus 16 x 2.25had 3mm sticking out! The Mitas MC2 also had 1.5mm sticking out.
You want a flat proof moped/ebike tire? This is probably the one.. although i'd say it's tied with the mitas MC2 because the MC2 is much cheaper and has a slightly harder compound than the Pirelli. This might mean that they are equally flatproof.
5 stars!

Got these on a good deal through a buddy, but totally worth full price. So sticky carving corners + these look fantastic! Being a bit bigger than most moped tires, these can cause clearance problems. Had to lengthen my chain a half link and move up my front fender for these to clear. Turned out perfect! Highly recommended!

these are nice and solid. they are the easiest tires to put on I have used and I can lean into the corners further than I need to. good construction.

These tires are great. They are huge in size and feel durable. These are sooo much easier than Gazelles.
