the ultimate collaboration of mike thomas, tomahawk mopeds, and treatslanderia have brought the incredibly universal 220mm OD brake rotor for use with most any rear mag wheel that uses a 98mm ID sprocket!

this rotor was designed by the TOMAHAWK to be used on the new bernardi 3 star and 5 star mag wheels! it should fit most newer peugeot and motobecane mag wheels too.

note that there are hella COUNTERSUNK holes and even a power slot on the rotor so it may fit other 98mm rear wheels

summary : new disc rotor that mounts to where the sprocket usually mounts to on a REAR mag wheel to convert to a FRONT disc wheel OR have you heard that joke - how many moped companies does it take to make a rotor?

rotor thickness - 3mm

Using the EBR hydraulic fork and wheel perfectly centered, here's a reference guide to space out the rotor for each type of wheel + caliper combination in order to clear the caliper with the wheel and line up the rotor with the caliper brake pads.

Use 3/4" spacing between bracket and caliper (2x 3/8" NAZ aluminum spacers)

2- EBR + Tomos caliper
Use 1/4" spacing between wheel hub and rotor (8mm or 5/16 nut)
Use 1/8" spacing between EBR mounts and caliper (2 washers)

3- EBR + Grimeca caliper
Use 1/4" spacing between wheel hub and rotor (8mm or 5/16 nut)
Use 3/8" spacing between EBR top mount and caliper (6 washers)
Use 1/8" spacing between EBR lower mount and caliper (2 washers)

1- EBR + GOLD caliper + NAZ Bracket
Use 1/2" spacing between bracket and caliper (3/8" NAZ aluminum spacer + 2 washers)

2- EBR + Tomos caliper
Use 1/8" spacing between wheel hub and rotor (2 washers)
Use 1/8" spacing between EBR mounts and caliper (2 washers)

3- EBR + Grimeca caliper
Use 1/8" spacing between wheel hub and rotor (2 washers)
Use 3/8" spacing between EBR top mount and caliper (6 washers)
Use 1/8" spacing between ERB lower mount and caliper (2 washers)

C- GRIMECA 3 or 5 star vintage wheel:

1- EBR + GOLD caliper + NAZ bracket
Use 3/4" spacing between bracket and caliper (2x 3/8" NAZ aluminum spacers)

2- EBR + Tomos caliper
Use 1/4" spacing between wheel hub and rotor (8mm or 5/16 nut)
Use 1/8" spacing between EBR mounts and caliper (2 washers)

3- EBR + Grimeca caliper
Use 1/4" spacing between wheel hub and rotor (8mm or 5/16 nut)
Use 1/8" spacing between EBR mounts and caliper (2 washers)

TIP: If you're building a race moped and need a new set of wheels + front disc brake set up, buy the RAZZEELICA 3 star grimeca wheels wider than the BERNARDI 5 star chinese wheels.

5 of 5 Finally a cheaper answer to front disc conversion September 19, 2014

Click the Facebook link below for more fitting information. I did a lot of R&D to make it even easier to install the front disc with different rear wheel / caliper type combination using the GRIMECA, TOMOS or GOLD caliper + NAZ Bracket from Treats.

Use it as a guide but you'll still have to do some final adjustments making sure your wheel is centered with the fork and the rotor centered with the caliper brake pads.

The rotor is made out of strong metal but not stainless steel and might come with small flash rust spots. Paint it or clear coat it yourself.
