Mine came with some dremel marks already on it.
Doesn't clamp fully around my 7/8 bars. Leaves a little gap that's visually annoying, but once it's on it's not going anywhere.
It could just be my bars tho as the throttle action is sticky between the bars and tube, making the best cruise control ever but horrible throttle accuracy.
This thing seems indestructible, get a miniest knarp and good to go. Worth the price imo.

great throttle for a great price. With my mikuni vm16 the pull is a little less than 1/4 turn, exactly what I want on my race bike. I either go fast, or stop unexpectedly. No inbetween.
But.
not all aluminum. Only the housing is. bevel gears, cable guide, cover plate and tube appear to be ABS plastic. still seems durable, but the cover plate looks like it'll crack if you tighten it too much.
Tube fits well on the bars, and doesn't flop around like those cheap, crappy white ones.
all the plastic pieces are molded really well, so I'm ok with it.
It's bulky. I'm using short levers, and had to modify to get it under the housing, only have a one finger pull 'cause the throttle housing is so fat. But who needs brakes anyway?
grips are sucky. They're hard, so they'll probably take a few crashes and still last ten years. I use protaper pillow-tops anyways, so screw it.
