new old stock AVIONIC motobecane av10 46mm cast iron kit !! this thing is pretty sick....it's the only cast iron av10 kit i can think of! oh and it it comes in the coolest box ever.

avionic was ahead of their time by including a small tube of ipone 2t oil with each kit! unfortunately, almost every single one of these has bust causing the kits to be covered in oil...buttttt this may actually have been the saving grace for these kits by acting as a rust inhibitor and keepin everything fresh! amazing!

***BE SURE to chamfer the ports before running! like most cast iron kits, the ports are quite sharp!***

comes with cylinder, piston, rings wrist pin and clips! comes with gaskets that almost guaranteed have been crushed and are unusable so plan on cutting or buying some!!

I added a 1/8" base plate to the cylinder, then milled like 3mm off of the top of the cylinder.

3 of 5 Big iron kit with problems. March 27, 2019

The exhaust port had iron buildups, there was some snagging on the ports with the rings, and for some reason they couldn’t nail down the stroke because at bottom center you can still see some of the top ring through the exhaust port!

On the positive side it is a monster 70cc kit that weighs a ton. Definitely buy a gasket set, mine were completely destroyed.
