here's what ya get in this PARTYYY!:

NEW cnc aluminum 18mm intake for tomos A55 mopeds for PHVA carburetors!! complete PARTY with 90deg silicone coupler, hose clamps and intake gasket!!

this is designed to work best with this 17.5mm PHVA and connect directly into your existing air box. The 17.5mm PHVA TS does not work with this intake since it has more brass tubes sticking out of the side so use the version in the link (PHVA 17.5mm ED). If you try to use the TS the brass tubes on the side of the carb WILL hit the frame once the intake is installed and you will be very unhappy cause your carb will NOT fit.

of course, the silicone coupler will need to be cut down to size. you have a couple options though!! use the 90 degree portion to tuck your carburetor into the stock location with stock airbox with PHVA, or if you want to use a different air filter or PHBG use one of the straight ends to make it shoot to the side. amazing!!

ID = 18mm
clamp mount OD = 24mm
center to center of mounting holes - 32mm

Paired with the linked 17.5mm phva. Fit right on and had zero clearance issues. I did mount it with the cylinder off the bike though. Port matching is definitely a must, atleast on a stock cylinder.

5 of 5 Great kit, but felt like I was working on an A3 September 24, 2022

I installed this kit on a Streetmate Racing R and it definitely works, makes further upgrades super easy. The intake is a little too tall and when you try to slide on the silicone hose and clamp, it won't clear the frame/tank. Pull the top two engine bolts and disconnect the (stock) pipe from the bracket, and then remove the starter. Easy from there and just reverse procedure. Just when I thought I was totally done with the A3 engine drop routine....

Pop this right on your a55 and toss your old intake into a bum camp. I made sure I had the correct angle on the hose and that the hose clamp was in a good out of the way spot before I mounted it to the cylinder. I also used a hex bolt with a washer on the right side and Allen on the left. This is just what worked for me. Also get a bud with tiny hands to help if you can, my xxl mitts made it a tad tricky to install with out a buzzball.
