If you're using some fancy aftermarket turn signals hooked in through the same holes leftover from the original turn signal wires, these rails extend into the turn signals. Now, you could drill some new holes to mount the signals somewhere else, or do what I did and chop two inches off of the tips. Sprayed some rattlecan on the tips to cover up the exposed steel from the cut and popped the rubber plugs on.

what I've found with the rear rack is there no go hook points for straps/nets so you end up using this to attach to. only problem is you have to connect them way forward of the rack on this. if you try and strap towards the rear of these rails the hooks will simply slide off the back. I wish these were a tad bit longer/hooked/blocked off at the back so straps dont slide off.
Too long for using original turn signal mounts
