olympia best quality complete clutch for all non-variating piaggio vespa mopeds. this is basically exactly the same as the stock ones. same parts, same quality.

Kinetic riders - rejoice, this will fit NON variated kinetics from the era around 95-98. It will obviously NOT fit variated kinetics. This also upgrades the clutch setup since kinetic has a wonky bushing that usually goes bad while this version has a nice new needle bearing. Most variated kinetics are of the 2005 and later era.. but you should prob know if your kinetic is variated or not. If in doubt email us and send some photos and we can help you.

27.5mm pulley size.

these come on the ciao and boxer you might be familiar with. some racers like to race non variated on the vespa. simonini also makes a 37.5mm pulley reinforced non variating clutch bell you can spill your guts into.

also get malossi clutch shoes and hi tension race springs for supreme grip n pull gear yer pulleys like you would yer gears.

change front and rear pulley size for top speed or making wheelie videos.

1978 Vespa Piaggio Ciao Super Deluxe. Worked perfectly, simply bolted on and was good to go. Original clutch had just seen it's day. Comes greased. Although I did use original clutch nut because of it's larger diameter.

recommend getting a side cove to cover the clutch because laces and pant legs will totally find their way inside

I built a lil ripper ciao a while ago but didn't have a clutch so I picked up this to get it going.

The quality is great (as expected from Olympia) and is a complete bolt and go ordeal. However, seeing that i had a bunch of clutch parts around, I decided to not use the nut they give you and use the original nut since its easily twice as large. I'm sure the original nut works perfectly fine, but if you have one of the big og ones at hand use that. Also, I swapped out the inner race that the needle bearing sits on (that actually goes over the crankshaft) with the original one since it fit ever so slightly tighter on the crank. Again, the one that comes with the olympia clutch is fine (i actually did this after a hundred or so miles after install) It's just nice to have everything nice n snug.

OH and also! if you are using stiffer clutch springs on this guy like i am, it's a good i deal to cut a couple diagonal slits in the clutch material just to help dissipate heat better.
