new EBR front forks for vespa piaggio ciao mopeds.

notice the rad axle mounts! this shortens the final length by about 2 inches for a 24 incher with the wheels on.

for use with the stock ciao front brake plate found on springer forks. the brake plate from a rigid fork ciao will not work!

the shining black finish! so blk its wow!

and of course the springer springs on the top! those gotta be chrome still of course!

this newer model features handle bar mounting on the top, unlike the vintage ones of yester year.

200mm tall head tube with 60mm of thread

uses 25.5 vespa crown nuts like this one

about 26 inches total length

regular maxi ebr are 23 inches

regular magnum ebr are 27 inches ish

I got this fork to replace the bent one one my '78 Batavus starflite and heard these would fit.

This ciao fork fits great. I didn't have to modify the top of the fork, only move the bearing race from the stock fork on it. The tab that holds the brake plate needed to be made thinner so the wheel could be mounted but was quick work with a dremel and cutting bit. After that, the wheel fit back on with no modification other than flipping it over.

The fork has a bit of twist play or flex to it. I think a stabilizer would help a lot but I haven't gotten one yet.

All in all, it's a great improvement over the stock fork as it looks pretty good and handles well.
