I bought this a few years ago; my riding experience has never been better! By far my favorite upgrade to my bike so far, it makes everything feel sturdier. It was easy to install, and didn't require any extra drilling or modification.

we have lots of potholes in portland oregon and stupid speed bumps this works effetively to keep you from folding a frame or loosing control

This bar is a great way to stiffen up the chassis on the Ciao. Makes the bike handle better as well as prevents twisting damage to the frame. The bar can be mounted with the bend facing up or facing down (minor bending of the back tab may be needed). Recommended!

A good bolt on frame brace

I had this on my ciao for about a year than it started to crack. its not that heavy or that thick. The frame still flexed a bit but not nearly as much as without.
Works great
