Kinetic TFR converted from pulley to variated. The setup includes a stock Piaggio variator with a 90 mm driven pulley.
The engine is currently moved back about 3/4. I may need to move it slightly forward to achieve ideal belt tension. That said, the belt fits and works well so far. A slightly wider belt would provide a bit more grip on the variator, but length wise this belt is exactly right for the conversion.

I use this or the Gates Metric Power 13x950. Not much different from the Malossi number and significantly cheaper.

I'm sure all you out there with variated ciaos have elongated your engine mounting slots at some point, but I had to make mine reallllyyyy long to tension it correctly. it works right now, but I'm worried it will stretch out really quick. I'm running a malossi multivar btw.
treats dudes you may want to order some ax35 belts
