Hate to say it, but this is basically a bike tire. I ordered one up and was surprised that my pushpin test revealed it to only have 7mm maximum rubber tallness, which is as thick as a schwalbe marathon plus bike tire.
The tire is extremely light though. If you want the lightest tire and can sacrifice puncture proofing, it's probably the one.
It does have a harder compound than a bike tire, so out in the field it's probably more resistant to goathead thorns 'n stuff. Once i saw the thickness of the rubber, i never installed it on anything ( i live in goathead hell, Utah, USA )

skinniest DOT approved tires I've found anywhere. I'm using them to convert a bicycle trailer with 20" wheels to pass safety inspection as a motorcycle trailer!
