the new and improved tomos long racer seat! it sits low like you want it.
i think rodney put this seat on his hobbit? or was that a vespa? i don't remember
you can use the
maxi seatpost clamp with this and it will fit over a 22mm seatpost
**this may not fit your later model tomoses without a bit of choppin, welding, or other cleverness.**
curious if it fits??? do you love measurements?? cant decide if you like imperial or metric? today's your lucky day!!!
let's start here:
20" long
6.5" wide
about 3" tall
looking at the side of the seat, it's about 130mm from the back of the seat to the center-facing edge of the rear bracket. measuring from a line projected down from the very back of the seat, it is 95mm to the center of the first hole and 115mm to the center of the second hole. the projected line is 55mm. rotating the seat about its major axis (hot dog) to look from the bottom, we see that perpendicular distances between holes are 65mm and about 17mm apart center-to-center. rotation about the minor axis (hamburger) reveals a rear bracket height of about 50mm from the recessed bottom of the seat. the bottom is recessed about 26mm from the lip that goes around.
front bracket width is 45mm on the inside and 52/53mm on the outside. measuring on the bottom of the seat, it is about 70mm back from the front of the seat. bracket is welded on at an angle, the rearmost corner of which projects perpendicularly to the surface at a distance of 145mm from the front. the center of the holes are 18.5mm toward the front from the 145mm point just mentioned. the center of the holes is 60mm from recessed bottom of seat; highest corner of bracket 80mm from same. the front raise angle of the seat itself forms a right triangle with lengths approx. 185mm, 175mm, and 60mm. get out your draughting pencils and see if it's the one!!!!
