Spring mount on the wrong side, but.... |

The manufacturer put the spring mount on the wrong side, but you can just flip the stand around and it works just fine.

too wide to fit in the frame, had to significantly file down the sides to get it in

Sorta, we just had to drill out the little round part where the bolt goes through. Older stands don't have that.
