fun fact!!! when measuring rims, its from the inside diameter where the spoke holes are. if you are to measure the complete outer diameter, a 17" rim will be about 17.75" so if youre ever wondering what tires to get, its always 0.75" larger than the tire size you need

Seems like a pretty nice rim -- but this is my first time relacing a big hub motor. Remember your ERD calculation is based on the spokes you use, but I got an ERD of 475. The outside width of the rim is 49 and width at the bead is 35mm.

erd is effective rim diameter: for calculating spoke + nipple length to lace wheel. bead seat diameter is the tire fit measurement. just a bicycle guy who fixed one tomos targa, so far...

Rims are measured at the inside base of the bead. Not at the spokes. Lay off the fun when you measure. Get serious.
