wide ROBOT swingarm first seen in SF on newport's ROBOT pinto creation, lets you use wider tires on than the stock maxi swingarm. You can probably get up to 3.00 width tires on a magnum and up to 2.5 or so on a maxi, correct me if I'm wrong please as I'm not robot, but I can appreciate a good one, actually I need a good one, robot that is.

all is not perfecto though, you will have to drill out the holes on the swingarm a lil to match it up with the stock maxi bolts. no probs unless you're a hella rookie.

20mm of space in the bracket that holds the bottom part of the shock!

5 of 5 Product itself is excellent, but... August 21, 2014

I've learned the hard way that this won't work on my Free Spirit. Its about an inch and a half too short, so the tire gets stuck, and the shocks are at the wrong angle. Maybe with 16" rims...
I replaced it with the heavy duty Magnum swing arm, and that turned out perfect for the Free Spirit.

The product itself came in perfect condition. Everything bolted right up and it feels very robust. I would guess that this would be a perfect replacement for the shorter Maxi swing arm, but I wouldn't use it on a Magnum. Definitely not on a Free Spirit.

Bought this because i felt like the MLM was a bit to much. Had no issues and was able to fit a 17, 2.50 on a Pinto frame.

finally bolted it on my 1980 maxi ~ seems well made ~ went on OK had to drill out a couple of the mounting holes (at the frame) to get it to fit ~ not that big of a deal ~ everything else mounted perfect ~ my Michelin Gezelles 17X2.5 fit with plenty of room~ and seems real solid with my 240 pounds of man flesh riding down the road! so ride on suckas!

3 of 5 Looks good, fits wide tires...flexes a lot!!! April 26, 2013

This bolted up with no problems on my maxi. I can even fit 2.75 hutchisons. However, there is so much flex that I took it off and had to weld a few gussets to it. Not a lot of work but definitely something that should be address by Mr. Robot for version 2.0
