This does not fit a puch maxi. Looks like a 6 y/o child welded this thing together and was beaten halfway through. (Single globbed spot weld on 1 side of everything that was welded) I can make it work but it shouldn't be lable as a puch maxi crossbar. I aint scurd of a little grinding and welding to make it work though. Sucks i'll have to ruin this blinggy chrome bar I just ordered.

Like everyone says fit hobbit's with some work. Need to widen the headset part I tried smacking onto something the size of my headtube but that's not working. Might use thinner nuts so it mounts better and press the headtube part to fit.

Hope you and your grinder and drill bits are friends. You will be seeing a lot of each other. Took some decent modification to work on the stock 78 Maxi. Had to widen to fit around the neck. Grinned to slide back onto stock frame to clear gas cap. I also threw the supplied nuts away and replaced them with a nylon lock nut. Had paint chips falling off the bottom of the frame so this was a MUST not for looks. Some time and elbow grease and lots of flying metal fits snug. Can tell the frame is stronger so it works.

Slight modification, real tight fit. Had to bend the rear flang out and then squeeze it back together.
