Bar needs some slight bending on both mounts to fit right, it works, but if to a welder you might as well skip it and weld up your own. Good part if you can't weld though, does the trick and the bike does actually feel a bit more stable.

I have a 1977 Puch Maxi. I had to cut away a little from the seat post THEN take it to the machine shop to move the holes back 1/2" I also added 14mm more metal on each side. Looks great but now the gas cp doesn't come off correctly. Great product but poor design holes.
