OK. First off, when this dude was working, it was blasting. 1) After about 50 miles of use, the center of the magneto which hugs the crankshaft came loose from the outer part which contains the magnet. Running it sounded like the worst engine knock you ever heard. I had to weld them together to fix it... 2) The box failed as well around the same time. Great. 3) This is a 2 wire stator which severely limits what other kinds of cdi boxes you can get, and none of them are curved unless you get some special retarding box which goes in between the stator and the box/coil.

fitted this to my tomos, had to use a dremel on the stator to elongate the slots to reach correct timing, runs great but doesn't blow custard out the exhaust!!!

If you're thinking about getting this ignition for your blaster, DO IT. You can follow the moped army wiki for installing a puch CDI on your tomos just the same, plus the box is curved! Thing is a monster, super bright lights. Slap this thing on there and blow custard out of yer exhaust all the way from here to moon all day
