I only had 1 OEM spring holder strip on me on my 1978 Puch Maxi II, but I decided to replace both of them at the same time anyway because the original ones are super weak and crumble to dust like a 46 year old stale cookie if you so much as look at them the wrong way.
The other review is accurate. These are way higher quality than the OEM pot metal ones

This is superb, the original one is a shitty pot metal die casting and a good pothole will crack them, or strip them out.
this looks like its real, machined, aluminum which is super duper.
they didn't need to copy over the flatted sides, since that was a die casting tooling feature, but whatever this is still an awesome win.
