auto retarding pietcard stator with coil and cdi box, uses the stock coil and points flywheel! this as an electronic converter made to replace the points and condenser. comes with the 2041 competition CDI box that auto-retards. please be sure you use a resistor plug/cap or you can damage this unit.

this is successfully used on minarelli V1 mopeds and perhaps others too!

So Heads UP from the "Brute Squad Moped Club - Late model 12v CEV coils will not fit this plate !! Listing states that the optional Pietcard 12V 3012 light coil can be purchased in the description link, but doesn't say its the only option IF you want lights … Dont make this mistake, as the 12v coil is only 16$, otherwise youll find out afterwards and have to place a second "Emergency Order" … This Stator IS Exceptional though !!!

as stated before you will need to take a bit off the old ignition coil in order to get lights with this unit. Timing this baby with a light is a must, and with the 2041 box it retards several degrees. I had dremel the stator holes in order to get a little extra advancement.

i had to take about a millimeter off of the outside of the stock ignition coil to get the fly wheel to fit over it. the cdi appeared to have weak spark but i tried it anyway, and it fired up and ran fine.
