I bought this for my 1978 Moby 50L. It is the correct orientation, but I can't get it screwed in enough to form a tight seal with the handle on it. I had to take the plastic off and use a pair or pliers to turn the fuel on. Def wouldn't fit with the side fairings on, but I have them off to make repairs easier.
Beyond that does a good enough job, leaks a little.

Got these for a couple 40Ts I have. They interfere with the frame during install, unless you disassemble the petcock beforehand. Then it's all good!

Great for Motobecane 50V

Fits a Motobecane 50V almost perfectly. Had to file down the top to tighten it all the way. Otherwise the top hits the frame and won't tighten all the way. Left fuel flow goes directly to the carb. Feels sturdy.

Fits my 1979 Pacer S.S. perfectly! Super nice quality petcock and I love the "click" when moving the lever. Overall VERY well made...BUT...after about 1 week the little lever fell off somewhere on the road. Now I have to carry pliers with me when I ride. NOT COOL!! Just pull it off when you get it and apply a dab of epoxy. I'm ordering another one now.
