The photo shows this upside down and backwards. This is made for the SHA in conjunction with the original tomos A35 12mm intake. (part number 229716)
This fits newer tomos TTs and some sprints. Your frame must have an oval shaped hole on the left side near the rear fender. A rubber gromet goes there and fits the intake part of the air box snuggly.
I use this air box on my daily driver beacuse it has great flow and is quiet. Im running a 70cc kit with a 16:16 (68 jet) and I hit 47mph+ no prob with stock gearing.
BTW: the tube that goes into the frame though the oval hole must bored out for good flow. im pretty sure it can be bored out past 15mm
