I had to replace the axle on a 78 Bravo. The caged bearings were malformed due to heat or storage. I tried to run them but they seized the wheel. I just opted to run free bearings without the cage. Works great now.

Great Replacement for Puch Maxi Front Axle

I ordered this after I found the front stock axle on my maxi was bent after repacking the wheel bearings.
Worth knowing; on my bike (1978 Puch Maxi 1.5) the rear axle is larger than the front, so while this was a clean replacement for the front, this might not be the case for the rear.
I also wasn't sold that the new cone nuts would fit the races of the wheel bearings super well, so I reused the old cone nuts from the stock axle.
Overall great construction and this one comes with hardware!
