I tried to heat up the boots to stretch them over the lower wheel mounts of the fork and boyyyy was it difficult. Almost ripped the buddies. I couldn't get them on that way. The better way is to unscrew the cowling holding the lower end of the fork on and just slide the boot on from the top. Super easy.

Just carefully warm the top enough to stretch over the lower bushing-retainer with a heat gun. Alow to cool and they're secure.
