Do what the fine gentleman below me said for securing the gear better, but also be mindful of the fact that the pulley will have to be opened up if you are running a Varplus setup with the Malossi X belt. The belt, as is, does not fully seat like it does on the factory pulley. Much less side bite. But otherwise a sick pulley.

You have to re-engineer the way the cog secures to the pulley. I used an m5 hex bolt and worked the threading until the notch on the gear base perfectly aligned with the flats on the bolt, then loctite-ed the TINY allen bolt that holds the securing bracket down. Another thing, (same issue with the fan-blade looking one) the edges of the pulley cutouts are RAZOR sharp, use 400 grit and smooth them, or risk a surprising laceration.
