Seriously, the rebuild kit is just fine, but if you have the AR2 you don't quite get everything (the atomizer is a different shape so you'd need to order that seperately). It didn't matter because the thing leaked anyway. Maybe it was the fuel inlet, maybe it was the new gasket, maybe it was the upside down bleeder screw, but I have a hard time believing it was any of those since it was all either clamped or sealed with something. I cant stand this fucking thing, my Mobylette only had 263 miles and was in excellent condition. My interim solution was using the Dellorto SHA 15.15 from my Honda which fit just fine and ran great, so I ordered another one with the proper intake manifold and I suggest you do the same unless you REALLY value authenticity.

and throw that gurtner in the trash. It even has an unpleasant almost offensive sounding name, 'gurtner', sounds like someone who would sexually assault you. Whoever designed the bowl and float on this carb should be executed on live television. replace this carburetor with literally anything else. Yours is likely covered in white aluminum oxidation anyway and should be totally unserviceable.

Comes with the screw in retainer for that type of diffuser but then includes the other press-fit type diffuser with no retainer. You'd have to run the choke cable out of and back through the chassis to replace the slide if you like to scooter in the cold (France's fault not treats). And who wears out an idle screw? No bowl o-ring or screw seal.
Maybe you could use the jet in addition to the gasket but like the description says it's huge and easy to clean. No float parts either so you might as well just the $3.75 gasket from treats instead. Still cheaper bought separately if you lost your idle screw and won't clean a jet.
I'm glad Jules Gurtner is dead
