this is a replacement throttle o-ring for the stock motobecane gurtner carb. as of the moment i actually don't know where this goes, but i DO know that it isn't the float bowl o-ring (number 8 in the diagram above).

if you smoosh it a little, it fits in a Bing between the carb and intake for maximum sealage. Sure, you can buy a whole box of random O-rings at Harbor Freight, but maybe you are already ordering other treats here? Maybe you are a dollar short of the $150 free shipping deal?
