brand spankin new for 2019....looks like christmas came early boyz! this cnc 70701071 aluminum intake lets you ditch the stock gurtner crapper carb and slap on a dellorto SHA style carburetor!

all around much nicer than the malossi equivalent. the overall flow has been vastly improved by eliminating the "shelf" that blocks the intake charge on the malossi version. plus, its a true 15mm ID through the intake to the port on the cylinder. oh and way way waaay better fit and finish.

works with 15:15 or 16:16 style carbs! or the newer style 14:12s even. as long as it has a 19mm ID shim, you're good to go!

just imagine being able to change your jets! wow! revolutionary!

fits perfectly on av7 with no need to dremel fins or ensure a smooth sealing surface!!

you'll have to lightly file some fins if you plan on using this on an av88 tho!

ID = 15mm
OD = 19mm

Replaced my DIY hack-n-weld intake with this. It's SO much better.

The fit is tight, because it's perfect. You'll need to file down a nub on the cooling fin closest to the intake, and it should seat nice.

4 of 5 Grinding for av7 July 29, 2019

Description says no grinding, but it wouldn't sit flat on my cylinder intake port. I did have to do some fun fin material removal to get it to sit well and seal up. Very nice piece otherwise. Just my experience, maybe my cylinder casing is off?

Especially 15mm ones! Hey! I bet this dumb sucker would work on a hobbit too with just a little bit of adaptoid technology to the stock block/2pedalspacermajig

An SHA on a Hobbt seems like a great idea!
