5 of 5 Good bang for the buck April 27, 2019

Out the box / set up:
-Ports don't require much work, quality is on point.
-Needs a meaty base gasket for piston to not block exh port at BDC. I cut my own out of ~1.8mm gasket paper and while it didn't COMPLETELY uncover the exh port... it got damn near close. Maybe .5mm of piston showing at BDC. Good enough eh eh?

I had one last year and seized that shit fast due to user error. One thing to take note of is that ring gap out of the box is all fucked up. Like WAY too small. Take your time and open that shit up. I thought I did a good job the first time but looking back... hell no. Haha. Get those feeler gauges out. Don't half ass it!

I haven't put too many miles on my current one but it feels pretty good. Doesn't rev as high as the Doppler 50cc but seems to make power a bit earlier. Rips multiple dicks off the line with a kickstart ER3. If you compare the Airsal n Doppler side by side, they're painfully similar. Exhaust port aside of course.

I ruined two of these prematurely because I failed to set the ring gap. Otherwise, great kit 💯

5 of 5 50mph December 8, 2013

Didnt clean up the ports, just case matched and slapped it on. With the TMMP cases I needed a .75mm base gasket to bring squish to .75mm with an av7 head.

Doppler pipe with extension, 15:15sha, 76 jet sea level, 1.1 Btdc cdi, er3, doppler belt with stock spring. 50mph. way faster than my kstar/proma za50.
