motobecane AV7 malossi SHA shorty intake
motobecane 15mm SHA dellorto intake

malossi shorty intake for using on av7 (50v) and av88 engines to replace the stock gurtner with a dellorto sha carburator.

either the 15mm or 16mm dellorto will work great with this intake.

just imagine being able to change your jets! wow! revolutionary!

check the reviews below for more info, on some av7 cylinders you need to slightly file the fins or intake down to get a perfect seal, sorry!!

ID = 15mm
OD = 19mm

Had to shave the intake for it to line up perfectly. It took 2 seconds with a file.

4 of 5 Super rad upgrade!! January 12, 2015

I bought the whole sha carb party for my av7. Had to shave the top of the intake(took like 5 seconds with a file) bolted up grate! One downside is the plastic shim went bad on my carb and the intake casting was a bit off so I have to replace because of a insane air leak in the seal. Overall a sweet setup, just gotta be aware that it may have some defects. 👍

4 of 5 Decent intake for NC50 March 9, 2014

One thing I did not notice when ordering this intake was that the actual place where the carb mounts is on an angle to the flat gasket surface, this means your carb will be angled down a little bit when mounted to a honda express, you can flip the intake and angle it up or down but it is not a straight shorty intake. Don't think this will matter but I have yet to try it.

5 of 5 Well needed - Hit the spot! February 10, 2014

Mine worked just well without shaving off the top. Maybe I got lucky, i dunno....

Works great for my 15.15 SHA I used a 1mm shim and a clamp seal for a tight fit .

I'll get another for the other AV7.   - Buy a few, they're inexpensive and worth it.

4 of 5 Needs rework November 10, 2013

Needs to have 1mm shaved from the top of the flange, to fit the cylinder proper, also the ID necks down the 12,6mm so you need to open her up if you want to flow better then a stock AV7 intake.
5/8 drill is 15,875mm... just saying cause not many folks have 19/32 drill bits or 15mm metric bits.
Best idea is to also match port it to the cylinder and oring the carb to the intake.
