Don't skimp on the proper piston stop.. it is more than essential for engine rebuilds. Sure, you can ghetto rig up something that'll work about the same, but using the right tool for the job is worth its weight in blood, sweat, and tears

Threads don't fit my Puch Newport... Only screws into sparkplug hole less than a quarter turn. Functional for finding tdc I guess but I wouldn't want to put any actual force onto it to remove flywheel.
Edit: Treats sent me a replacement (for free) and it works great.

Not for setting timing

This works great for pulling the flywheel without damaging the piston and such, but is too long to use for setting your timing unless you don’t mind finding tdc from points 16 or so cm apart

Worked great and a much-needed tool for any driveway mechanic.
