I'm running a polini kit, CP carb, stock "roundy" head, and this thing rips up to 8500 rpms, then just makes a lot of noise. Running 11-38 on my Cimatti Gran Prix XL and tops out at 53mph.
Fitment is crap, though. The front mount is 3/4" away from the head, even with the 1" coupler nut I have.
Flange spacing sucks. Holes are ovaled out, but the nuts won't clear the weld. Forget about washers. You'll need to make some spacers and grind a flat spot on the side against the weld.
Rear mount lines up, so at least they got 1 outta 3 right.
The silencer is pretty crappy. A beer can with some big washers on it, basically. But it'll fall off anyway, so no big deal. And you'll definitely know when it does. And so will your neighbors.
But all that's easy to fix. And the performance is worth it.
Edit: the lowest part of this pipe hangs about 5" under the head. On my Cimatti with 16" wheels, it has 3" of ground clearance and scrapes on left turns. Time to get out the torch...
