I had to use a delorto plunger, cut 2 coils off the spring and open the base of the threaded fitting so the top of the plunger could slide into it a little to have full choke. it was a chore. but I can now use the factory choke pull on my 65 vespa 125 to start it on cold days. I have a mikuni 24mm flatslide and got tired of pulling the tool box from under the seat to engage the pull choke

like previous review, this will screw right into the hole where a lever choke goes but as far as fitting my tiny little VM16...it's a no go...fit fine but the depth of the threads on the choke on the VM16 don't allow the slide to clear the holes required for chokin' before it hits the screw bottom...maybe can grind the slide end to work??? I dunno

this fit my VM18 right out of the box, without any mods, maybe because vm18 is lever choke and the others are pull choke, I dunno. You kind of need this if you want to run a vm18 inside a derbi frame

This set up is for big mikunis... It did not fit my 28mm roundslide 'out of the box' but it fits my 34mm just fine. You can modify this to fit the smaller ones but it is a pain. This should work on any 30+mm roundslides, I'm not sure about flatslides.

trying to choke and unchoke black betty with a push/pull choke was going to loose me a finger! this handy little guy made it possible for me to put my choke away from all those variators and keep my fingers!
**edit** this dumb thing doesn't work with that 24mm flat slide that everyone uses. does it already say that in the description? i forget. i had to modify it like crazy to make it work. BUT I MADE IT WORK! AND NOW IT'S AWESOME!
at least the threads fit the carb...
