it probably works for the stock ignition, but when you upgrade to the cdi, it goes on about 3 threads, and doesn't bottom out on inner part of the flywheel. the big head is what holds the flywheel on. I mean, if it doesn't strip first, like mine did. apparently, the cheap threads can't hold up to a little Milwaukee M12 impact. why not just make a nut that looks and works like a nut? i rate it Zero berets out of 100 froglegs. F motobecanes.

Don’t shave your stock nut for the cdi party!
I did that and I worked but I destroy the lip on the cdi flywheel where the puller goes! The novi nut bottoms out on the outside, no good!
No I have to find out how to pull the flywheel!

If you have upgraded your crank and you need a right hand thread nut to hold your Magneto on this is the one. Not the ling skinny one recomended by the link for the $75 buck crank.
