didnt like these reeds. was 10x better with stock metal reeds. i expected better from malossi

these things are awesome, as staed before cut your own gaskets and dont put it on an 87 honda elite bc it dont fit.

that rubber gasket got ate up on me. i used spec torque values. led to fumes coming around the side and coloring it yellow. like chinese. gas. ended up cutting it off and lapping it a little and making a paper gasket from material. nice tho. big old hole for fuel to flow thru. oh update to review. it has these punch holes at the bottom, other side of the rubber gasket, that are halfway out of the edge of the reed blockcut off by the edge. so it leads to leaks, theyre about a millimeter deep. like someone half punch holed trhu these thigns. big air leak i was having, was the punch holes, not covered by the malossi gasket, paper that comes with it. i made my own. watch for seal if your paper gasekt doest seal around these punch holes. thanks malossi. nice job. might as well been a jagged block the reeds where on. anyway, like the air flow. nice reed set. check for leaks trace ure own gaskets out
