Like the others have stated, the spring was designed incorrectly. Straight out of the box, it does not work for a right or left lever. You will have to bend this into the correct shape yourself. The right spring works like a champ. Try to find a different spring for the left lever until this one gets fixed.

I've ordered two of these. First one I assumed I got the right side by mistake. No big deal, I'm sure I'll need one eventually. Second time it was the same exact thing. I assumed I must be doing something wrong. After far too many attempts to make it work as is I decided to modify. Required me to bend it (to mimic the OG one on the right side) so now it sorta kinda works. Not sure what else I would use so I guess maybe I'll order more in the future, but if you have other options I'd check them out.

There is no way to make this spring work. The one for the right side is correct.
edit treats : haven't heard of anyone having issues with these, email us and we will double check to make sure you have the correct one!
