the long wait is over... finally! an economy brand 6 volt voltage regulator!

the hole in the middle is for mounting purposes and there's 3 terminals for hookin it up.

ok so with the regulator facing you and the terminals on the bottom i think the order goes, from left to right, ground on the left then output in the middle and input on the far right. give that a try.

Wow! No more blowing up bulbs. Wired as instructed and now my lights work. Sorry treats for the decline in bulb sales :(
