4 of 5 buy 'em, they're fine February 5, 2014

Yes technically the crank is supposed to have 17x30x5 seals, but those are hard to come by. They are used on honda outboard motors, so boats.net carries them as well as honda outboard dealers, However, these fit and work just fine. I've been running them in a polini noi for 2 years now and they've held up just fine.

side note, magneto side crank seals are notorious for going bad on old noi's. Shit's running weird and you can't figure out why, buy one of these and pop it in and rip rip

4 of 5 NOI 2-speeds: CHECK YOUR SIZE FIRST! November 30, 2013

I can't speak for all NOI 2-speeds, but the one I rebuilt called for 3 seals...

(2) 17 x 30 x 7
(1) 17 x 30 x 5

So, don't just buy 3 of these thinking they will all fit. Check the thickness of the old ones you're removing first. You might need to track down a 17 x 30 x 5 for the main gear's shaft's 11t sprocket side. Treats might even have some. It would be great if they had a few in stock because ordering 1 seal from the  bearing/seal shops I called was a special order with a minimum charge which ranged from $15-$25 after shipment (for 1 seal..yikes). I have not run the engine yet because the build is still in progress. (will update)

buy 3 of 'em and plug all your holes! Same size as stock drive sprocket seal, and these fit the crankshaft even though they're 2mm thicker than stock, yipee!
