boasts an air flow increase of 15%, more prompt delivery
thanks to a new shape of the venturi, a new anti-friction treatment in
Teflon of the throttle valve and a chromed Avional mixture chamber cover as well as an engraved float bowl.

changing bolt on bottom of float bowl, screw off carb top (versus two
screw removal on regular edition), oil intake nipple and vacuum nipple.
race edition has spigot mount for use with a rubber coupling, clamp
edition is available but only in non race edition, bummer. race edition
also features a cable choke, though the pull style chokes are available
separately too if you prefer not to add more cables yet desire a choke.
