this is the edition of PHBG carbs that mount with hose clamps and rubber hose to the intake. this style of mounting can reduce vibrations to the carb and be a little tighter and less prone to air leaks than a clamp style carb that doesn't quite match up.

these carbs have three jets, cable choke, air mixture screw, and endless tuning opportunities thanks to a wide variety of needles, throttle slides, jets, etc. they solve many of the problems had with old inefficient carbs on motobecane, peugeot, puch, minarelli, sachs, garelli... also available in clamp style, black race edition, and other sizes. all the jets are available as well.

these ones come with the AU atomizer you want!

note: if your carb includes black drain hose tentacles, do not be alarmed!

19mm - spigot style - pull choke

this dellorto 19mm DS carburetor generally comes with this set up so you can plan your tuning

main jet = 85
idle jet = 50
starter jet = 60
slide = 40
needle = W7
atomizer = 262 AU
float = 4 gram

So, I have a Garelli 2 speed with a Polini 70cc & Peoples sidebleed pipe. I tried to get a Mikuni VM 20 to work, but could not get it off idle despite jets, needles and a lot of time. WTF? Time to move on.
Bought a Malossi reed set up and this PHBG 19mm. Fabricated a reed block cylinder mount adapter.
Fucking engine started right up and hauled ass first time out. Upjetted to a 86 and set the timing back. Thats it. Done. Happy. And now, get the fuck outa my way.

I got a 19mm phbg but the top is like the race carbs, it screws on not bolt on, hopefully everything else is the same, yet to install the carb but that is something that should have been noted...
