dual stage reed replacement for suzuki FA50!! everyone loves fa50 cause its the best noped!!

these reeds have two layers - one stiffer than the other, so they are able to function as both low end reeds and hi end reeds too. What you get, in short, is "the best power increase for your money" according to boyesen. I find it particularly telling that boyesen, the worlds premier reed company, refers to themselves as "the gatekeepers of power", I name I would love to have for myself in my dream world. these reeds offer an immediate noticeable increase in power.

STOCK reeds = large stiff reed = 0.5mm thick - smaller two petal reed = 0.3mm

Boyeson are the Masters of the Power Reed,  and pretty much all the cool kids have this reed on their FA50.

You wanna be cool, don’t you?

Read the instructions provided with the reed before attempting to install it, because this a very different reed fromthe stock FA50 reed.

5 of 5 Better Throttle Response May 2, 2018

Paired these with the Mikuni VM18 carb and MLM intake.  I cleaned up and enlarged the reed block to port match the larger intake.  Installed the reeds with the stock reed stop, since no rev plate is supplied.  I bent the stock reed stop open another 1/8" for increased flow.  I didn't want to run them without a reed stop due to the chance of them bouncing off the crankcase wall.

No issues with them, my FA50 pulls 35mph right now, and I can bury the needle at 40mph with a little tailwind!

Don't freak out when you compare these with the stock reeds. They are as different as night and day. Swear they can't work, but work they do. Not exactly like a massive surge of nitro, but noticeably smoother running and slightly more power for the noped. Everything helps!!
