This bar comes out of the package "general use" and must be modified, but it can be done using a simple jigsaw with a metal blade. I removed one of the circlips and then put the bar through the pedal shaft hole, and then scored the metal where the circlip needed to be on the other side. Then I put the bar in a vise and cut around it to make another circlip groove which worked fantastically! No need to use any washers here! Then, you can cut the bar to match exactly where you want the pegs to slip onto on either side for a perfect fit. I use hairspray to slip on the peg rubbers.

This shaft is huge! And beware, this is most likely heavier than your original pedals and cranks. A little to wide of a shaft for my liking, but you can always cut it down. OUCH!

Fit maxi and pinto frames perfect, a bit long and definetly too long for kickstart e50 but easily cut down to whatever size you'd like. I have mine on a maxi-N w/kickstart e50 and had to cut 1" off.

Hope the fact that they are solid won't be an issue if I lean over too far...
