well made gear set! pressed together nicely with my 20 ton hydraulic press. word on the street is that some gear sets require removing one of the shims so that the gearset doesn't bind when the cover is installed but i was able to use all of the original transmission shims. no binding and turns smoothly!! 9.1:1 is great gearing for my contessa, 19 phbg, s6 big valve and pg long setup for around town use. top speed improved greatly and it doesn't feel like i'm going to die off the line to 40mph like with the stock gear set.
