5 of 5 Best upgrade my LB50 needed! Thursday, March 9, 2023
taco eater : John Stevens from Worcester, MA United States
Bone stock LB50 on stock gearing is an absolute turd barley getting to even 20mph. After bolting on this kit I did notice a drop in the low end with the stock head but the "puch hi compression old style fins" head took care of that. But the stock exhaust is just far too restrictive and 4 strokes too much even with the spark arrestor removed and this cylinder kit. Paired with the MLM people's pipe my LB50 now FLYS!!! With a 25T rear sprocket, it now gets to 40mph flat ground EASY!!! Tho I typically keep it around 30mph or less for long periods don't wanna melt my kit ya know

5 of 5 Things just got serious Wednesday, June 26, 2019
taco eater : Hunter Skiff from Boca Raton, FL United States
I've owned an LB80 for some time now. Recently picked up an LB50 for my sister to ride, only to find out these bikes are kind of turds from the factory. Bone stock I was only able to get 24mph out of the bike (13/28 gearing). This kit is well made and super simple to install. Comes with ALL the gaskets you need. After a generous break in period the bike was able to achieve low 30s. Bottom end power is also improved and really helps the LB50's low shift point. I paired this kit with a 70cc old style hi compression head from treats. Later modified my stock pipe(see LB50 thread on moped army) and am able to wing the little girl over 40mph on sustained wide open pulls. Up-jetted the stock carb, finally settled on a #72 jet. Temperatures have not exceeded 330*F, even with ambient temperatures over 100*F. Overall very impressed with this kit. My LB50 isn't quite an LB80, but its close.

5 of 5 bolted right on to lb50 chappy Tuesday, June 18, 2019
taco eater : kenneth gilbert from Lincoln, RI United States
took my lb50 from 24-25mph to 31 and it's still breaking in (only other power mod is DIY shaved head).  takes 20 minutes to install, hardest parts are getting clips on pin and rings in bore--and those are not hard.

5 of 5 The best Chappy Cylinder ever Wednesday, September 27, 2017
taco eater : Danza Octav from Sinnamary, French Guiana France
This cylinder is a plug and pay original cylinder replacement.
Can be used like stock for just more power or like a race moded moped.
It's very well made and very solid. The best chappy cylinder I ever used, even better than the originl one. The more it gets old, the more powerfull it become.
You can make your chappy run 70mph if you mod the exhaust hole and some other stuff, with 19 carb, an exhaust, an electronic ignition (Motoplat) and by changing the sprockets

5 of 5 Great kit Monday, July 23, 2012
taco eater : Michael Sallie from Canon City, CO United States
Instslled on 1980 lb50, stock exhaust, stock reed valve, lb80 carb from a 76, high compression o ring head.  Stock setup chappy was very slow at 22mph.  Kit is extremely easy to install in under 15 minutes.  Bike now performes like its big brother lb80.  Still under break in, top speeds have reached 36 so far and getting stronger with every mile.  Altitude here is 5500ft so I'm sure you low landers will see even greater gains.  I can tell this kit has more to offer with a pipe and still bigger yet carb. Not enough oooooos in taco to rate this properly. Get it! If you can start your bike you can install this.

5 of 5 polini kit Monday, June 21, 2010
taco eater : ivan lopresti from landing, NJ United States
i just installed the 70 cc kit, my chappy has the gianelli exhaust on it, and i had the stock head shaved a few years back. now before the polini kit the chappy got up to 32 mph max. now with 70 cc it got to only 32mph but got there quicker, from 25 and up it was picking up speed fast, now at 32 mph my rear wheel locked up, i skidded a long distance. i thought engine was shot, but after it started up??? is there a break in period for this? please let me know thanx

5 of 5 finally Tuesday, May 4, 2010
taco eater : cuperteenbro from Cupertino, CA United States
I bugged benji for about a year to get this for me cause I didn't want to order from 50cc. Ports are massive, and it bolts up easy. Get the phbg manifold, and a 19 or 21 clamp on, malossi e12 and one of the 4-petal reedblocks. You have to file the intake a bit to fit, but it gives you more power. My chappy was a turd, doing 23 or so, but with the kit (carb, gianelli pipe, etc) it got up to 50 (i regeared too). Sounds great and runs strong, tons of low end. I have a 90-something jet and a big idle. Blasting chappys!
